I'm putting together a welcome pack for new members and so far have quite a lot of content based on the benefits, things to get involved in (newsletters, podcasts, social content.etc) but I also wondered if you had any ideas on what new members would like to receive? Maybe even ideas based off what you would have liked to get when you joined.etc?

That’s why we’re launching this monthly update [NAME OF PAPER], to keep you informed, connected, and equipped with the tools you need to succeed. More importantly, it’s about giving you a stronger voice - ensuring your insights, concerns, and ideas shape the conversation at both the state and national levels. This isn’t just another newsletter - it’s your platform to drive change, collaborate, and make sure our profession moves forward together. Welcome to our first ever (and hopefully not last!) update for state directors - a place where we can share insights, updates, and resources to better support each other and the surveyor community. Think of this as your friendly neighbourhood newsletter, minus the boring bits. You get to know first. We’re kicking off this initiative to bring more structure to our communications, so directors have the tools they need to succeed - and maybe even have a bit of fun along the way (no promises, though).
