What a journey and what a journey to come...
2025 - made it through my first winter with my home service business, luckily I like saving money and had enough to squeak by. Continued to build my brand and focus on making clients happy. Brought on some contractors and dealt with a lot of headache. Bought a work van, it crapped out, bought a work truck, it has tried to crap out twice but I keep reviving it, woo! haha. Got a large storage unit so I could move my work tools/materials out of the garage, felt like a big step, but it was much less than my original plan to get a workshop ($200/mo vs $1,000-$1,600/mo) glad I talked with my grandpa who had a lawncare business for the storage unit insight. Got a professional email setup almost 2 years into my business, its not my name at gmail anymore, its my business name at wok . com. NICE! Now we are already about to enter 2026 with more wisdom. I like having people do work and I get paid for it, but making sure things get done right (or at leas the way you want it done) was challenging. Contractors constantly doing things there way and often royally messing things up and then they play dumb... lmao. Fun. The goals for this slow season/winter (End of March) - Setup automations/workflows within my CRM and MAKE SURE I USE IT! So I can have systems in place to keep up with new leads, old leads, current clients, etc. This will be a nice quality of life adjustment - Get my Freemium Skool community built up with pay options so if people so choose... they can purchase things to make their life easier instead of doing everything alone... like I did. Things like website building, logo creation, crm setup, one on one coaching, and a blueprint on how to get your first clients. This skool group will help me prepare for franchising my own business while igniting my dream of being a business coach and help others escape the rat race so they can make a considerable change for the better in their lives. With my CRM ready to rock, I will be ready to take on 2026 and make it an amazing year! LETS GO!
What a journey and what a journey to come...

@Ilja Tom Gull don't mean to call you out, but I just like to be forward. This reads very AI generated. I get you are probably busy, but for authenticity, you might either want to get AI not to sound like AI or respond yourself? Apologies if I am wrong. Haha.

@Ilja Tom Gull Yeah. Even a short personalized messaged would be better. This was my emotions. Wow! Ilja responded to me... oh... is this an auto response bot or something? Totally killed the excitement/joy of the response. Just feedback. Hope it helps. :)
The Pursuit of Knowledge Is the Real Growth Hack
Lately, my business has pushed me into a brand-new season, one where it’s not just about what I can do, but about leading, managing, and bringing others into the vision. And I’ll be honest… it’s uncomfortable. But it’s also exactly where the growth is. What I’m learning is this: the pursuit of knowledge isn’t a phase, it’s a lifestyle. Every time I level up, the challenges evolve with me. New responsibilities. New skills. New edges I didn’t even know I had to stretch past. There’s no “I’ve arrived.” There’s only “What’s next? What else can I learn? Who do I need to become?” Stepping into leadership has forced me to grow in ways that technical skills never did. Communication, patience, systems, delegation, trust, these are the real unlocks. And you don’t learn them in theory… you learn them by being thrown into situations that test you. And that’s the gift. Growth hides in the unfamiliar. So if you’re building somethin; and it scares you a little... good. If you’re stepping into roles you’ve never filled before, keep going. If you feel like you’re in over your head, welcome to the part where transformation happens. Let your comfort zone be the thing you outgrow, not the thing that holds you. Keep chasing knowledge. Keep sharpening yourself. Keep expanding into the version of you your goals require. The pursuit never ends, and that’s what makes the journey so powerful. Always in your corner, KB

Hakuna Matata Baby. It means no worries... not because you don't care about anything, but because you know you will get through it and come out the other side stronger and better. :)
Quick Pulse-Check 🫀✅
Hey there - I have a brief question - just because I love asking questions (that's true, actually! ;-) Seriously, just a quick one.. When life gets messy, tough, whatever, what’s your honest default mode? No overthinking, just click what feels real right now. I’m curious to see how different (or similar) our patterns are. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/XnjiprcNurg

When I get overwhelmed I tend to distract myself/shutdown. Usually in the form of computer games. I try to give my brain a rest from the chaos and give myself time to recoop or get back into things with a fresh mind.

This video is something I say to myself a lot. Idk if I got it from this video or from Mr. Beast. Hahaha

Awesome community! Please help me welcome our latest members, which just flew in - basically!! :) @Chantal Togany and @Kyle Burton It would be amazing if you'd share a little about yourself. Like what you do for fun and/ or anything about a Habit that you feel is interesting to share in this community. Whether it's a BIG or a super-small habit doesn't matter, at all. You can also simply ask a question about a habit or anything that feels right to you! AND - Welcome again!

Hey! Quick habit. DO! Don't just think. Action is so much more powerful then thinking/planning and you find even when you plan and then implement, the act of taking action and learning hands on, you need to make changes all the time anyways haha. So just start with doing and work from there.
