I deleted 500 emails from my list
Yes, you read that correctly. Every quarter or less, I do a hard scrub on my list and remove contacts that haven't opened/clicked in 6 months or more. Yesterday, after deleting the emails, I felt a rush of lightness in my body. Don't know why, but true. If you're out there building an email list, it is CRITICAL to scrub dead email addresses by either deleting or doing a re-engagement campaign. We need to maintain lists that are engaged, so that our deliverability stays strong. When is the last time you scrubbed the list? Note --- size of list doesn't matter. If you're emailing to 100 people, and 50% haven't opened/clicked one of your emails in 6 months... guess what?! It's time for a breakup.

That’s such a great strategy! And it works on the receivers end to not overwhelm if they do come back and see old emails. You never know when someone might circle back and you want them to feel just as welcome as the first time. 💖💖
Skool Engagement, the holy grail...
In a world, where attention is the new economy, how do you capture it, and maintain it? How do you get your audience to engage with you, vs just being passive? Well... let's look at the problem. Here's what I see inside most Skool groups and the reality of how consumers are navigating this space: - You want attention and engagement for your stuff, yet... you won't give it to others - Your audience is scattered, time limited - Your posts follow a formula, never breaking the mold - People want entertainment WITH education, it's called "edutainment" -- and that's been a thing since the 90s when the internet really kicked off - You rarely show your face and share WHO you are - You sell before you actually build trust and authority; and that turns people off - And onboarding path doesn't exist or leaves people hanging without a path to follow How can we solve for some of this disconnect and lack of engagement? Go back thru that 👆 list, and do the opposite or close to it: - If you see your members in other communities, engage them! - Unless you're saving lives and delivering high-quality content, and has a must use at this time aspect to it... you won't get daily engagement from 100% of your members. Get realistic. - Stop posting the same thing each day. Use polls, emojis, one word posts, highlight your members, etc. - If your community is free/freemium and you want to get people to upgrade to paid layer... then STOP giving everything away for free. What's my incentive to pay you, if you give me all I need for free??? - Stop hiding behind the screen. Share a photo of you, and ask others to do the same. People love to see each other. We are HUMYNS! not computers. - Selling is a craft. Don't be pushy. Let your testimonials, and results build the proof, and sell gently within your classroom, posts, dms, and comments. - You need a breadcrumb path for your audience to your paid offers. AND I mean a loud and obvious thing!! What have you done to drive engagement that's been successful, fun and easy? Share below and let's get the collective brains working! We all thrive by lifting each other up!

That first point is a biggie for me. I get more followers out of engaging myself and making friends than just posting to the ether 🦄

Bad news 😭
Yep, I’m a cancelling the Skool launch challenge for those who hadn’t done it yet. No one has finished the tasks for day 0 or 1- which means yall aren’t ready! I’ll schedule another one for a later date —>> if there’s enough demand. You can always do the challenge on your own! Note: only those who finish the challenge get perks with me. 💗 mind answering this poll for me so I know where you’re at?

I could technically vote because I had to let my community archive. Life is lifing hard right now and I’m just pushing through to the other side of it and trying to hold on to each detail I can in the meantime. (Skill building, planning, etc)
Are you serious about visibility? Or just in a dopamine cycle?
I hear so many saying, I want more visibility and $$, yet they go round and round in the “learning” and lurking mode. Learning doesn’t pay you, it helps you to improve but unless you ACTIVATE and move towards tangible visibility goals then all you’re doing is hiding behind lurking comforts. And lurking never pays. Skool is a Goldmine of Connections. Stop wasting your time. You’re ready now, because if not now, then when??? Visibility can include: - creating lead magnets and sharing them like cookies, every gets one - Speaking at summits and podcasts - Collaboration with others to create unique experiences - Starting a YouTube channel or a podcast BUT only if you’re committing to weekly posting. Otherwise you’re treating it as a hobby —- ask me how I know?? - Creating value by sharing and highlighting others and not you!! (That spiritual skool roundup I did? Total success!) - Commenting and posting in 2-3 skools and giving value!! Don’t sell. Stop it. Just offer genuine help, people will remember you - Attending IRL networking events - Hosting casual meetups - Posting flyers at your local coffee shop and calling in your people If you have more than 50 Skool groups in your follow list, do yourself a favor. Ask the hard question… am I actually going to participate in this group? Or am I joining new groups for a dopamine hit? (I get you wanna support friends, totally. But your time is precious and non renewable) No shade to the uber community engagement powerhouses… those are few and far between. And there’s very few that fit that category AND making BANK. So unless your Skool activity is paying you on the daily…. Well, then? What are you doing? Learning? For what? Lurking for what?? Networking? Then awesome! Keep going. ✅ Use this powerful new moon in Aries to cut out the junk. Your nervous system will thank you, and your limited life energy will reward you. Drop in the comments, is 2026 the year visibility becomes real? Or will you be talking the same game in December?

I catch the procrastination bug mixed with an allergy to focus 😮‍💨🌱 in other words I’m a work progress but I will stubbornly keep trying to do better 💪
