Subscription Cancellations - They Want You!
I just went through and tried to cancel a few subscriptions to cut some of my business expenses. Guess what? They offered three months ๐—™๐—ฅ๐—˜๐—˜! I'm not saying they will offer you these deals and if it was random that I got picked because I'm a long time user or a new user. ๐—š๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ธ - went to cancel the 3-day upgrade and got offered 3 months free. $90 savings as it's $30 a month. ๐—”๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ผ - went to cancel monthly subscription and got offered 3 months free. $60 savings as it's $20 a month. Last month is was my car insurance with Liberty Mutual I cut $1k off of my annual policy on a 2017 4Runner full coverage. Companies want loyal customers. So when a ๐—ฆ๐—ธ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ป๐˜€, do you offer a ๐˜€๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—น to get them to your premium or VIP? Hmmm?

Yes I think Canva as well and Streamyard did it too. I wonder if Zoom and Skool does it? That would be great! btw. when someone cancels I always message them and get feedback and offer them something for free. I had a few people stay!
Why I Keep Coming Back to Challenges...
Iโ€™ve just kicked off the third round of a 28-day challenge inside my community, and Iโ€™m being reminded how powerful challenges can be for creating momentum. Whatโ€™s making this round especially fun is that weโ€™ve had a number of new members join recently, so thereโ€™s a real buzz in the space right now. Even though the challenge itself isnโ€™t brand new, the energy feels fresh because the people are. One thing I really like about challenges is that they give people a clear reason to engage. Rather than hoping members will just โ€œbe activeโ€, youโ€™re giving them something to step into together. A few things that have helped me when running them: - Keep the actions simple - Make participation visible - Build for momentum rather than perfection - Tie it to a specific result - Make it feel supportive, not heavy Iโ€™ve found they can be great for helping new members integrate quickly, reactivating quieter members, and creating a stronger sense of community. Curious...Do you run challenges in your community, or is that something youโ€™d like to try? Whatโ€™s been your experience with them?

Amazing. Loved it. Shows how powerful LinkedIn is.
Did you know that most visibility doesnโ€™t lead anywhere?
Visibility shouldnโ€™t feel this inconsistent. Youโ€™re showing up, youโ€™re posting, youโ€™re even getting some engagement, but it doesnโ€™t really lead anywhere. No steady leads, no real momentum, and after a while it just feels unpredictable. So most people assume they need to do more. Post more, try new hooks, change their strategy. But often thatโ€™s not the issue. The issue is thereโ€™s nowhere for your visibility to go. Thereโ€™s no clear next step, no connected community, no real path from content to offer, so every spike of attention just disappears. And then we keep on re-inventing rather than re-using content or improving on the content. Thatโ€™s where it starts to feel frustrating. Now I look at visibility very differently. Before I focus on creating more of it, I ask whether it actually connects to something that can hold it. Because visibility should compound, not reset every month. Iโ€™m talking more about this in my summit session, but Iโ€™m curious, what part of visibility feels the most inconsistent for you right now? ๐Ÿ‘‰ Getting engagement ๐Ÿ‘‰ Turning engagement into leads ๐Ÿ‘‰ Staying consistent ๐Ÿ‘‰ Knowing what to post
