How to Manage Cashflow - new article in the business school
New article in the business school under "Classroom", you can download the document How to Manage Cash Flow - Business School · Marketing Plan Accelerator (skool.com) How to Manage Cashflow •Top tips for managing cash flow •We all realize that times are tough, and in many cases, the Top tips for managing cash flow Cash is king. In many cases, the key to running a robust business is the management of cash flow. Below are a series of tips that could help you improve your current cash flow situation. You may find it helpful to have a meeting with your finance manager and go through the tips below. After the discussion you may find out that cash flow is well managed in your company. But if you identify any gaps, you may find these tips useful in taking some practical steps to improve your cash management. You may also want to share these tips with your customers and in particular with those businesses that you know could benefit from advice. • Project your cash flow •Projecting your cash flow in advance will enable you to identify periods when cash flow might be tight, allowing you to look at potential credit facilities to help the business through this period. You’ll also be in a stronger position to negotiate a credit line when you don’t actually need it. • Call in the cash promptly ·Ask your customers to send their orders to you by fax or e-mail ·Send your invoice at the earliest opportunity. The earlier you send it the greater the chances of you being paid on time ·Encourage electronic forms of payment (such as BACS) to speed up the process of money being received ·Cash cheques immediately ·Adopt a ‘carrot and stick’ approach to customers based on how good they are at paying their bills on time. Look at offering discounts to customers that pay before the due date, or cash on delivery. Apply ‘late payment fees’ to customers that are late with payments.

90 day plan onboarding. How to structure the first 90-100 days of your new job role for success! 😎
How to structure the first 90-100 days of your new job role for the best chances of success! Also to be used as a manager when you have new employee or hire to your team! This is now available in the "Classroom" section under "Business School" in the Marketing Profit Accelerator Skool The first 90-100 days of your new job are THE most important. Take charge with this detailed plan to structure the first 30, 60 and then 100 days in your new job to maximize your chances of success! The 100 Days Challenge! "You will never get a second chance to make a first impression" - Anonymous. Why do you need this? Starting a new role can be exhilarating, yet also daunting and a bit scary... All those thoughts running through your head: - What if I mess up? - What if my boss doesn't like me? - What if I get it wrong with my team and other teams? Whether you are looking to take the next step up in your career or need to make a positive impact to provide security for your family - making a positive impact in the first 90-100 days of a new job is important. I know as I have been through the process multiple times in my 20+ year corporate career. In my last role change, I also changed companies, moving to a place where I did not know anyone. The stakes were high for me and I felt I had to get it right. I decided to take charge of the situation and structure it so that I was in control in the early days. Rather than just turning up and being buffeted by whatever was happening in the business in the early months, hoping my boss was good and organized and that the company had a great onboarding system. Ask around...how often does this happen? In many cases, onboarding of new hires is terrible! I have started two new roles and did not even get a laptop to work on for a week... Then my new boss was too busy to spend time with me and left me alone to figure things out. Out of frustration and desire to make a great impact with my last move, I created this template to structure the first 100 days in a new role.

@Ben Gehrke Great to hear Ben! Agree the funnels stuff is tricky initially, though once you have done a couple, you can do most of it yourself so the cost goes down. Would recommend starting to think ahead about how you will drive traffic to the funnel, with mix of "Organic" (social posting and building your own following, e.g. FaceBook groups or YouTube) or "Paid" (i.e. Ads). Think about where/which platforms your target customers mostly hang out and how will reach them there to let them know about the offer in the funnel. Great progress though, keep going!
Internal Market Research Brief
Template for an internal market research brief - so this is for you to use within your company to pull together a brief to enagage agencies to do your market research; or for you to get clear and aligned with your own people in the company as to "WHAT, WHY, WHERE, HOW" for doing market research.
