What Are the Numbers Telling You?
Okay, I’m full of questions this morning as I plan my upcoming launch and get ready for health insurance open enrollment. Between time blocking and launch scheduling, I’m closely watching where my time goes and what comes back. I’ve noticed entrepreneurs posting multiple times a day and sharing the same post, hook, and offer across several groups. Yes, this is my second post today. Apparently, my curiosity has no posting limit. 😂 So I want to understand the strategy! Does each post have a different purpose? And when you share the same post across groups, do you track which communities bring the right people your way? What are you measuring? Conversations, profile visits, new members, inquiries, sales? I can see the opportunity to reach different audiences. I also wonder whether multiple posts in the same group compete for attention. What result makes you say, “YES, this is worth my time”? If you’ve tried posting more and then cut back, what did your numbers tell you? 💖

Lisa, I've been paying more attention to this lately too. For me, I'm starting to care less about how many places I post and more about what happens after I post. Did someone start a real conversation? Did I meet someone I want to know better? Did they visit my profile or become curious about what I'm building? Did the conversation continue somewhere else? I've also learned that sharing the exact same thing everywhere doesn't always make sense. Different communities have different purposes and different people, so I'm trying to ask, “Does this actually add value here?” before I post. Right now, conversations and relationships are probably the numbers I care about most. A post with 20 likes and no conversation may be less valuable to me than one that gets two comments and leads to a genuine relationship. I'm still experimenting, though, so I'm curious to see what everyone else has learned from their numbers too.

@Lisa Drennon Yes, I'm starting to notice that the posts that invite people to share something from their own experience tend to create the best ongoing conversations. Questions about relationships, struggles, faith, confidence, or something people are currently working through seem to give people a reason to come back and keep talking. I'm also learning that my response matters. If someone leaves a thoughtful comment and I ask a genuine follow-up question instead of just saying “thank you,” the conversation often keeps going. So maybe the topic opens the door, but the follow-up is what turns it into a relationship.
Can You Love Someone Deeply Without Carrying Their Burdens?
I love that today’s Quiet Time doesn’t ask us to become less compassionate. We’re reflecting on what it looks like to love people with both gentleness AND wisdom. Our Scripture is Romans 12:15. Celebrate with those who celebrate and weep with those who grieve. There’s such a beautiful picture of empathy in those words. We can enter into someone’s joy. We can sit with them in their sorrow. We can genuinely care about what they’re experiencing. And we can do all of that while remaining grounded in the peace Holy Spirit has given us. That’s what we’re exploring in today’s Cheshvan Quiet Time and Colouring Page. The colouring page is a gentle opportunity to slow down, meditate on the Scripture declaration and give Holy Spirit room to bring something to our attention. And the complementary Quiet Time Reflection takes us a little deeper with this question. 🦋 When was the last time you were tempted to resist true Empathy because you felt Overly Sympathetic? Sometimes the answer surprises us. Sometimes we recognize how much has already changed in the way we love others. I’d love for you to enjoy tomorrow’s colouring page, which I’m sharing here for FREE. 💗 And if you’d like the complementary Quiet Time Reflection to go with it, comment 🙋‍♀️ and I’ll share it with you!

@Lisa Drennon Lisa, I think that's the harder part. 😂 For me, I have to keep bringing it back to the Lord. Sometimes I can surrender something to Him in prayer and then realize an hour later that I've picked it right back up in my thoughts. When I catch myself doing that, I'm learning to ask, “Did God give me something else to do here, or am I trying to control the outcome?” If He's given me another step, I can take it. If He hasn't, then I have to remind myself that I've done what was mine to do and place the outcome back in His hands. Sometimes surrender isn't a one-time prayer. Sometimes it's something we have to choose again every time we catch ourselves picking the burden back up.

Happy for you @Lisa Drennon
What happens after you close your Bible?
I've been thinking about this question lately. We can read Scripture, underline a verse, listen to a sermon, or finish a Bible study—and still move into the rest of our day without allowing what we learned to change anything. But what if we asked one more question before moving on? "Lord, how do You want me to live this today?" Maybe the Scripture we read changes how we respond to someone who irritates us. Maybe it affects a business decision. Maybe it means apologizing. Maybe it means waiting instead of rushing ahead. Maybe it simply reminds us to include Jesus in an ordinary part of our day where we normally wouldn't think to. This is something we've been talking about as I've been building Hungry 4 Jesus: not simply learning more about Jesus, but knowing Him more deeply and putting what we're learning into practice. I'm curious: What helps you take something you've read in Scripture and actually carry it with you into the rest of your day?

@Lisa Drennon Lisa, I love how you take what you learn in Scripture beyond just studying it and ask the Holy Spirit how to actually live it throughout the day. That’s such an important part of it. It’s not just what we learn when the Bible is open, but what we do with it after we close it.

Are You Pitch Posting & Ghosting? 👻
I know Halloween is right around the corner but we gotta keep the ghosting out! @Chris Suckling shared something in his post that made me realize this is EXACTLY what's happening here and all over Skool. When you jump into conversations that are already happening, get curious, ask questions, and actually get people talking, something starts to shift.... People begin to recognize you. They remember your name and your profile. They start jumping into YOUR conversations when they see you post. Suddenly, you don't have to work so hard to get people interested in what you do. But when every interaction starts with you dropping a pitch... 😬 chances are, you're getting the online version of that polite nod. 🤷‍♀️ There's a really good lesson in Chris's post that goes way beyond sales conversations. So here's a little food for thought... Are you pitch-posting and ghosting? Or are you actually getting into the conversations? 👉 Go read Chris's post and tell me if you see the connection, too.

I’ve been seeing this play out in real time. The more I focus on having genuine conversations and getting to know people instead of trying to promote something, the more I notice those same people showing up in my conversations too. Relationships really do come first.
