🇰🇭 Cambodia = Easy Mode
Still the simplest option in the region.
- Over 55? Retirement visa is smooth sailing.
- Self-employed permits hit their quota but should reset in January.
🇹🇭 Thailand’s Redemption
I used to be critical, but credit where it’s due - the new DTV visa is an excellent option.
- It’s actually easier than Vietnam now for long-term stays.
🇲🇾 Malaysia
Their Digital Nomad visa is one of the best out there right now. Strong option if you’re a remote worker.
🇻🇳 Vietnam = Hard Mode
Funny enough, the most popular spot is the hardest to stay in. Best option, set up a company for a TRC.
🔄 The Visa Run
Most people are still doing 90-day runs, but every country is getting stricter. If you’re doing it, play it smart.
