Turning your n8n Workflows into APIs
Ever wish you could use n8n as your no code backend for multiple users? Here's how you can.
This great video by Oskar explains how to turn your n8n workflows into secure APIs using reverse proxies and an open source framework called Tyk (https://tyk.io/).
Basically you create webhooks as access points to your n8n workflow, then use a reverse proxy in Tyk and make secure API endpoints to those webhooks. Tyk handles rate limiting and analytics automatically.
To take it even further, you can use Supabase Auth (which creates JWTs) then integrate Tyk to check and validate the JWT and only pass the data to n8n in the backend for logged in users.
