I am posting because the concept of self-care has been coming up for me enough to pay attention. I realize I need to do more of that. I come up short on self-care (outside of naps). I know everyone is busy in this fast-paced time plus lightwork etc as well as Every Day Life. My case is no different: I am "birthing" new projects in the form of paintings that have deadlines coming soon....juggling kid care, family getting surgeries, deadlines we have made to get certain projects done on the house before the surgery. My body is tired. I keep telling myself when the current projects and deadlines are complete, I will change things! To slow down and allow that space in between to expand - the space where I don't fill my mind with lists of things to get done and the need to be checking my electronic devices and responding. A space where there is no pressure - but then we need that to "make things happen" in this dimension (I can't snap my fingers and the paintings are done, lol) - Anyone else feeling this way or similar?
Or is the conceiving, creating, doing, done, tired, time to rest - until the next "creative" cycle begins just part of manifesting things into form. Or how do we rest if everyday so much is required of us even - if we are enjoying what we are doing? I just got an idea, but I'd love to hear thoughts from my Skool peeps!!
