🍂 WELCOME TO THE 52 WEEK BIBLE STUDY COMMUNITY! 🍂
I’m so excited to welcome you! I started this group to document my faith journey as I read through Dr. Kimberly D. Moore’s The Bible in 52 Weeks: A Yearlong Bible Study. I picked up the book at a local Five Below a few weeks ago, and it immediately captured my attention with its simplicity and clear structure.
This community is a space where women can grow in faith, reflect deeply on God’s Word, and encourage one another, whether your journey lasts a year, shorter, or longer.
👋🏼A Bit About Me
I am a 29-year-old wife (married 8 years!), a dog mom, a business owner as an online math teacher & tutor, an avid church goer, an advocate in my community for families & kiddos in foster care/adoption and a huge nature lover.
🌿Over the last few years, I’ve discovered a deeper love for nature and watching God’s creation in action.
My husband and I took a 7,000+ mile road trip in May 2024, from Washington State back home to Raleigh, NC. We visited national/state parks, beaches, mountains, deserts, rainforests and so much more. It was such a healing experience for me after losing my mom to cancer in November 2023.
I want the healing from that trip, the memories, and the beautiful pictures to be a part of this community, to steward our love of God’s creation in our personal journeys. We passed through 14 states on our main trip, so you might even see your state or city featured! 🌿
🛣️ My Journey in Faith
I’ll be honest, I haven’t picked up my Bible as much since our trip. During my mom’s illness, I found myself mad at God, and I’m on a journey of learning to love Him and trust Him again. Something I have learned over the last few years is that slow progress is okay and showing up sometimes is the next best step. Just start!
Wherever you are in your faith, this community is for you. This is about slow, steady spiritual growth, like a snail passing by on a trail. I captured the snail picture on our cover while on a walk through the beautiful Raven Rock Sate Park in Lillington, NC.
I've lived near Raleigh, NC my entire life, but there is still so much to explore!
In the comments below, tell me where you are from!
