Not all Krav Maga is created equal
What was originally meant to be a technical foundation eventually became the entire Krav Maga system—and was promoted that way around the world.
Even within the IDF, techniques are taught, but physical and mental toughness are emphasized just as much, if not more.
A complete system should produce predictable results in its practitioners. Instead, Krav Maga has often left instructors and students to figure out the missing pieces on their own. Much of this comes from systems being promoted by people who may know techniques but have little experience developing students over time.
The 360 Krav Maga method has four essential components:
Learn. Drill. Spar. Fight.
When we view training through this framework, it becomes much clearer how Krav Maga needs to be taught, practiced, and developed.
