You don’t always need an excursion…
In a few weeks, we are boarding Odyssey of the Seas for a 15-night transatlantic crossing from New York to Barcelona. Five straight sea days to start. Then we hit Ponta Delgada, Lisbon, Seville, Gibraltar, Malaga, Cartagena, Palma, and finish in Barcelona.🇪🇸
For some of these ports, we have no plans. Lisbon, Gibraltar, Palma, Malaga… we are just going to walk off the ship and explore ourselves (we have done some research on places for us to go and see etc).
After 36 cruises, one of the biggest things we have learned is that not every port day needs an excursion. I am not saying don’t plan anything ever. Seville, Ponta Delgada and Cartagena? We have got excursions booked for those places.
We will be sharing the whole journey as we go, so you will get to see what we find.
But here is what I want to know from you:
Have you been to any of these ports? And you think we are crazy just going for a walk rather than booking something?😅👇
