Don’t fall for the “dirty bulk” myth
Hey team,
If you’ve seen today’s reel, you already know the message:
“You’re not bulking - you’re bingeing.”Let’s break that down in more detail.
The Reality of a Clean Bulk:Bulking isn’t a green light to eat whatever you want. A proper clean bulk involves a controlled calorie surplus of about 150–250 calories per day - just enough to support muscle growth without adding unnecessary fat. Anything beyond that, is just binge eating disguised as “bulking.”
Key Points to Keep in Mind:
  • Track your progress weekly - especially your body weight, in the best case also waist measurements, body composition, and how you feel.
  • If your waistline is growing faster than your lifts, you’re not gaining muscle - you’re gaining fat.
  • A clean diet + structured training + patience = sustainable gains.
I posted this reel because I see too many people self-sabotaging their goals by falling for the “dirty bulk” myth. Don’t let poor habits hide behind a fitness term.
