Consuming Stories.
We are trained to consume stories, not author them.
Schooling teaches analysis, not authorship of self.
Media trains reaction, not reflection.
People learn how to:
- Retell news
- Share experiences
- Comment on others’ lives
But not how to ask:
“What did this teach me about living?”
What lesson did you learn in 2025 that can serve others?
