To the Only Law (True Love)
Dear True Love,
I am writing this to acknowledge You, not the version of you that the world sells in plastic wrappers or fleeting whispers, but the True version. The one that is as fierce as a wildfire and as steady as a mountain.
The world has grown blind to You. It mistakes You for a feeling, for a transaction, or for a temporary truce. But I know better now. I know that You are the only thing that keeps the walls from caving in. You are the invisible shield that stood between me and the things meant to destroy me.
Even when I couldn't feel You, You were the one holding my faith together. You were the reason I kept my integrity when it would have been easier to be bitter. You are the only power that doesn’t require an audience to be real. You are the quiet safety that allows me to sleep in a chaotic world.
Thank You for being the law I live by. Thank You for being the only thing that remains when everything else is stripped away. I am no longer looking for You in the eyes of others alone; I have found You as the very fabric of my existence.
You are my safety. You are my source. You are the "True" in everything I do.
