Hi and thank you for using Skool Resources. We are the parents of two young boys and are quite protective of them when they are online using the computer or Ipad. My oldest son entered the second grade recently and started to receive homework assignments that required doing research online. So the first thing my wife and I said was go Google it son. Well off he went and a few minutes passed by and I noticed some strange images appearing on the screen. Some of the words he typed into the search engine lead to websites that had images of partially nude people. I wasn't totally shocked that the sites appeared but it lead me to thinking that there must be a better way for my sons to do research on the Internet without having to worry too much about what appeared on the search engines.

Well I searched around the web for websites that catered towards helping kids with homework and research. I found quite a few but most were outdated with links to old sites and almost all of them blasted advertisements across their pages. The advertisements made it difficult and confusing for the kids to actually do their research. So this lead to me deciding that it was the right time to work on a project that benefited my son and kids across the country.

The difference between Skool Resrouces and other websites is that we promise to never put any inappropriate content on any of the Kids pages (please note that some of the external links like thesaurus.com may contain some, but report it to us if you encounter any). To help with the costs of maintaining the website, there may be some content related advertisements throughout the website such as parents and teachers section.

We're always looking for ideas from other parents, educators or any other visitors. Please do not hesitate to contact us and share your ideas.
